P: Bring Quick Share back to Photoshop (removed from 23.3)

Adobe, bring back the Quick Share button that was at the top right of Photoshop (it was just removed with the April release of Photoshop 23.3)

The reasoning for removing it is stated as "due to low usage, desire to simplify the options bar UI, and redundant functionality to other export functions."

But there is no other export function (that I am aware of) that allows you to send an image directly to another device via AirDrop -- This was extremely convenient as I didnt have to save/export a file onto my HDD everytime I wanted to send something to my phone or tablet.
Please bring it back and tuck it away somwhere if you have to.

But that isn't really the point here, @Lumigraphics. This is the company's effort to lock users into its ecosystem, plain and simple.

There is a thread about the blue button, and a workaround to change it to grey.

I've been on windows for the last year or two, where admitedly the share button was kind of useless as the windows share menu is useless. Having just switched back to mac I was looking forward to having the airdrop and imessage integrations. Very useful for when you don't feel like saving out a proper file, finding it, and sharing from finder. Also, the giant blue cloud share button that has replaced it is extremely annoying. It keeps catching my eye, and I think there's a notification or something, also distracting compared to the grey for color correcting. Please make both of those buttons optional. I don't use cloud docs and putting a big blue button there isn't going to make me start.

It appears that eliminating the share options is a way to help jump-start the Adobe cloud-based sharing system. I imagine there will be a $ub$cription fee involved at some point. That’s why I will continue to look for alternate (spelled: free) means of file sharing.

I don't even need this, but it's a shame to throw away good code. Tons of tools don't get much use, but are available to show on a toolbar or not, and that's how it should be.

77 votes (and counting) *is* a ton, as things (IMO) much more important only get like 4 votes often... How many threads have had more? People know by now that votes don't make a difference here...

As an alternative, I suspect there exists helper software where you can assign a watch folder to save in, after which it will do the drop.  ShareX is such great utility for image uploads. Who knows it can do this too by now, or you could make a feature request for it (at ShareX).

So this feature was intentionally taken out? What a horrible idea. This was one of my most used functions. PLEASE bring this back!

I'm writing this as an avid photo editor. I recently took some time away from editing for personal reasons and returned to update my newest version of PS. I loaded up, edited a picture, and realized there is no longer the function to airdrop your photo to another device. This is frustrating, as now it prompts you to save the photo before exporting. I don't know about many others but as a photographer, I'm constantly making adjustments to photos. This Quick Share feature was a huge time saver and made it easier to get those adjustments just right.

Maybe I'm mistaken and they hid the function elsewhere, but I don't see it anywhere in the toolbar or the "Help" function. Would love any feedback or other tips to navigate around this. In the meantime, I hope Adobe fixes this!

quoteAfter 8 Pages of comments from users around the world you'd think maybe a solid rep from Adobe would respond with "Hey all, we're going to review this and get back to you"or something!

After 8 pages and 4.3K of views and only 77 votes, you'd think maybe some would see this request isn't getting traction.

After 8 Pages of comments from users around the world you'd think maybe a solid rep from Adobe would respond with "Hey all, we're going to review this and get back to you"or something!   It's sa dbe cause I don't want to ever use another platform but this was literally essential in my daily workflow.
