P: Can Adobe please bypass the Save as Copy feature ASAP on Mac?

I understand that Apple made some changes to their API, but there has to be a work around to the new Save as Copy feature in Photoshop. This new feature is so cumbersome and time consuming that it's ridicuous. whats even more ridculous is that the destination folder revert back to the default when you click on the Save as copy button. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. I don't even want to think about all of the time I've wasted with the new save dialog.
