Photoshop could use a interactive Mirror Paint and Seamless edge/border painting function. Painter has had this feature for about 10 years now.

Hi Photoshop team,
one of the coolest and smartest thing that Photoshop is missing is a tool that allows to draw with symmetry and radial mode, that exists on third party softwares as ArtRage and Sketchbook Pro.
Please think to add it to the the next update.
Thanx a lot.

»We as users feel very mistreated by your way of communicating and your arrogant attiitude.«
I am a Photoshop user and I am in contrast grateful to Mr.Cox for contributing on this and other Fora and actually communicating with Photoshop users.
And I have not noticed arrogance in his posts so much as rather a commendable restraint.

Chris Cox you have been very arrogant, rude and unwelcoming in a lot of your responses to user requests.

It seems like you are a bottleneck for feature requests, as you smash a lot of very profound requests by simply not understanding what the users mean/want.
For me this becomes specially appearent in the context of digital painting/illustration.
You don't seem to understand what users from this group need and just piss them off.

We as users feel very mistreated by your way of communicating and your arrogant attiitude.

1 > Please feel free to contact me with an example of a rude employee/response. So that I may slap a wrist 🙂

>>Some of us are professional artists working and do not have time for finding these, or bothering with these forums.

2 > But we do know it all with regards to this product and all that entails 🙂

>> Maybe with the product, but not with the suite or needs of professionals, hence 3d even being a thought in Photoshop.

3 > I dont recall ever giving you or anyone an excuse on this matter (or others) I try to tell you straight when possible.

>> No, I just got an earful of the Adobe soapbox. Photoshop might be your favorite, but hardly represents the professional aspects of individual creative industries.

Has anyone seen Affinity? Give them a try. Their products are simple, clean and fast, not to mention cheap. They are up and coming... https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/

Companies are not allowed to specify what will be available or time frames, sorry. But I have been having a lot of conversations on this subject.

I have replied to your emails.

I have never discouraged others form trying other products, I still believe in Photoshop as my favorite tool despite the others on the market. And I have used them all.

Oh we listen, plenty of examples of listening and doing. We converse *continually* with a variety of creatives that provide valuable feedback on this subject and many things.

Have a nice day

Years? Try decades.

I don't like to grumble. Everyone here from Adobe has been either:

1. rude
2. acting like a know-it-all
3. or full of excuses, with no real answers for the users.

Daniel, feel fee to reply to my emails. People have been asking for these simple features for years—literally. Photoshop doesn't seem to listen to professional 3d visual effects/video game artists, illustrators or concept artists.

Frederic, if you want better drawing tools, use a better drawing program like Sketchbook pro. They are really nice, responsive and the feel/feedback is a much better experience.

So, do you have any news then ?

Is this functionnality (realtime symmetry, wrapping around, canvas repetition.. whatever it s called) planned ?

thanks for any feedback
