P: More font-sorting options (Custom Folders, Color Coding)

i've loaded about 1'683 fonts... (more or less) in fontexplorer Pro i made beautiful sets (folders) to organise all of them. I sorted them by type (serif, sans-serif, pixel, whatsoever) it would be an major advantage that those folder or similar ones would appear in the font-lists.. because the alphabetical order is ok. but with too many fonts activated it's so boring to type you through the abc instead of check all fonts of a similar kind...

Please make a new feature in Photoshop to group fonts into folders. This would make EVERY designer's life so much easier since we all have tons of fonts and we would like to have ways to organize them so we can find the right font faster. The tool presets option for grouping fonts does not work, because it's a huge hassle and it does not let you switch fonts on an already-made layer after typing the text. EVERYBODY vote on this! You all know it will definitely make your lives SO MUCH EASIER!!

It would be nice if one could "color coat" different things such as typefaces and brushes much like labeling on a mac. It would be easyer to organize things such as: blue for web, purple for magazine projects, favorites, ect. (would be nice on illustrator too)

I'd sure like to be able to somehow organize all my fonts in the font chooser drop down. And be able to create my own "groups" to assign my fonts to. Serif, San-Serif are the obvious places to begin, but I'd like to group in other categories... Serious, Funny, Decorative, Military, Grunge... that kind of thing.

I've seen font managers, but haven't seen anything that plugs into Photoshop. HELP!! I spend WAY too much time sorting thru my huge list!!

I think it would be a good idea to be able categorize my fonts folder.
being a professional web designer i have hundreds of fonts installed, sometimes i just want to search through pixel fonts, sometimes just serif fonts, the ability to create individual categories would be really useful.

come on who's with me?

Would love if fonts could be categorized - sans-serif, serif, special fonts, webdings, etc.

Would also like to hide some fonts that I will never use in thousand years, like these ones:

CS6 Suggestion - Would like the ability to manage fonts. Organize the font list by something other than alphabetical. Often I like to arrange / use fonts by style - western, gothic, serif, fantasy etc. When working on a project I know what genre of font I want, but not the given name in the list necessarily.

yeah, i think a mini Font Manager inside Adobe softwares is good.

Maybe the Font panel in top bar should remain more or less the same.
It should list the fonts which are in a Category (Main Category).
In Character floating panel (or a new Font Manager panel) you should have options to connect to Lintoype FontExplorer or any other font manager and be able to manage font yourself. Activate, deactivate fonts of entire Font Collections (folder) and put them to Main Category.
Or they could implement some sort of mini Font Manager inside Adobe softwares (PS, Ai, ID etc)
