P: New smallest swatch size is too large, offer smaller size

Seemingly needless change to the swatches panel, at first I thought I'd accidentally swapped thumbnail size.

Adds to the amount of scrolling when using a larger set of colours.

This really sucks and needs to be addressed! it's like swatches has grown 141% in the latest update and now dominates my workspace!

Answer: use legacy version.

At least i won't have to look at the dreadful new "flat" design again (until i no longer have a choice.)

Well, the first screen shot looks correct.
And yeah, the smallest thumbnail size was increased in Photoshop CC 2014.

Yes, in the second screen shot i selected "large thumbnail" to demonstrate that i was using "small" in the first one. That first screen shot however, takes up much more space than it did before the update (which i sadly don't have a screen shot of).

Are you saying that i missed an update, and should have experienced this sooner?

It appears that you've selected "large thumbnail" instead of "small thumbnail" in the swatches palette menu.

Larger sizes are so that they are visible/selectable on higher resolution displays.
Are you using the smallest size? The sizes haven't changed in CC 2015.1, they're the same as in 2015.0 and 2014.x (where the minimum was increased slightly).

Don't forget you can change the swatch size in the swatches palette menu.
