P: Preview shape color change while color picker dialog is still open

Shape color is applied only after clicking on "OK" button in Color Picker dialog.

It is better if the color changes immediately to preview the result.

It's almost 2022. Any progress on this?

This really needs to added as a feature. Not being able to preview the stroke color when choosing it is a pain. And what's especially strange: there is realtime preview implemented of the shape color when double-clicking the layer thumbnail, but not when doing it via the properties panel.

And it's the same bloody problem in Illustrator. THIS IS BASIC STUFF! SORT IT OUT!

Seriously Adobe this is effing annoying. Utterly embarrassing for such a 'prestigious' piece of software. It's been a while since I've had to use PS, and damn, you guys are years behind the competition now.

I thought photoshop use to have this feature.  Now it seems like it's not there.  I use to use this featrue religiously!  I agree, what the hell Adobe?

Seems silly a common sense feature that should have been implemented from the start is "under consideration"
