P: Show on-disk file size of smart objects and layers in Layers Panel

Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with a Photoshop file that is very large in size because it contains many smart objects and has large content. However, when trying to find which layer contains the large file, I cannot decide whether to delete it or rasterize the smart object layer because not all of those layers are unimportant.
If the layer palette could display the file size of smart objects, it would be very helpful for me to take action to make it useful for hard drive space efficiency. Thank you.

Hey, @mario293610831ai3. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. We'll keep the post in ideas for upvotes.

Currently, Photoshop does not offer a direct way to view the on-disk or in-memory size of each Smart Object, or any layer types in the Layers, Info, or Properties panel, or elsewhere. There’s no built-in feature that shows how much storage each Smart Object layer is taking up.

Please feel free to upvote this post from the top.

Thanks!
