I must say that full screen apps is a wonderful idea. I can start in such a way some of the apple apps (safari, imail, numbers) - I like switching between them. It will be desirable to enable this option for Ligtroom & Photoshop (both CS and Elements) to behave in similar way under new Mission Control stuff...

For a while now i have not been able to go fullscreen in Photoshop. Instead of the 2 arrows you have to expand to window and make it fullscreen. It randomly became a '+' sign. Lightroom isn't affected by this problem, but photoshop cc 2018 is. Contacted the customer service and we have literally tried everything but nothing seems to work. After doing some research i found out this exact problem came up during photoshop 2017 and an older MacOS sierra version..

I need to fix this..

Out of the blue, I can't go fullscreen on Photoshop. I have the latest Photoshop CC, MacBook Pro, High Sierra, the green expand button on the left upper side of the window has the "+" instead of the fullscreen button. Anyone has the same problem? Gone, poof!! It works in other apps (Lightroom included)

Hi,

Maximising the window is not supported on Photoshop CC 2017 release under the new Mission Control in High Sierra. As of versions Lightroom CC (2015), this feature is supported.

However, if you wish to go full screen mode, you can do so by selecting the "Full Screen Mode With Menu Bar" option;

Hi Eashan,

I had the ability to do that earlier yesterday, to use the little green button with the two arrows. I didn't change anything in my system, it just changed to the + out of nowhere.

But more important look what happens when I go to full screen mode (A bar where the dock was stays there, and adobe won't let me expand the window beyond that. I know it's kinda hard to see, my wallpaper is a bit dark.)

I know I can hide the toolbar (in all screens), but I don't want to do that. Fullscreen mode works fine in Chrome, Lightroom and all other apps (the dock disappears, and windows go all the way to the edge of the screen)

This is a problem that goes back quite some time. Lightroom full-screen is very nice, you get all the screen space and the tab is named "Lightroom". I noticed that Nimbus follows the Lightroom model. I don't know why Photoshop doesn't follow suit.

Please Adobe - make the UX consistent for the imaging applications!

Running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3. When I expand the program with the green button on my Mac. the window remains on the desktop. It does not go into a new tab and the doc does not hide. Using Lightroom the program goes full screen and appears in a new desktop tab. I've called tech support and they can't fix the issue within the program. This is a software glitch that hasn't been fixed in months.

WE DID IT GUYS! Now we know if something has pretty overwhelming community support it will get on Adobe's radar within 5 years!
