P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

I don ́t understand why it is always spoken from a fix. Where is that fix? It really looks like that this fix doesn ́t work right.

It was fixed several months ago when Photoshop CC 2014 was released.

Have the CS6 of most Adobe sw and this problem is really frustrating. Also, people starts to talk about is and it creates a sort of "bad PR" for a company like adobe. Time to fix it. Or the other way around, the problem will get worse. More and more such monitors will be used. So go ahead and do some work!
And, this issues is not either fixed or implemented. Or rather, shoulld we al work on 80 inches screens?

No, this is a specific bug in the SaveForWeb dialog on a specific display size - it really is a different topic. This has little or nothing to do with this topic, so it was move to a new topic where it could be investigated.

I am not with you that this is another topic. It has directly to do with the scaling problem. I don ́t know why this can ́t be discussed here. Instead of deleting my message I would prefer a honest answer.

I am having Windows 7 and I have the same problem. The menu in 200% scaling mode is far to big to reach. The buttons are not reachable Too.

I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit. But it seems not to make a difference between the windows platforms. If more looks like that the upscaling is to big for the pop up menus.

Experimental features only allows 200% enlargement for high resolution monitors (on Windows). 150% would match the operating system better. Currently, 100% is too small and 200% too large.

Nick - Photoshop did add a feature to work with the new high res displays, in Photoshop CC 2014. Photoshop CS6 is several versions behind and, of course, will not be getting new features.

Thank you Nick for eloquently pointing out this issue, as we all should notice this topic was posted 3 years ago, and it is a problem that existed back in CS4.

I'm hoping that the solution to this issue will come in a 3rd party market place, much like Start-8 did for Windows 8.

Any sort of customer loyalty or pride I may have felt for being your customer has evaporated.
