P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

Unfortunately, that did not work in my case.

Thank you for your input.

I'm going to probably make everyone here feel stupid but I think I have the easiest fix yet.

Right click on the app icon
Click Properties
Click compatibility
Enable this so it has a checkmark disable display scaling on high DPI settings

It isn't a "fix", but a major feature in a newer version of the software.
And Photoshop CS5 was released many years before high DPI displays became available on Windows.

Well isn't that a kick in the pants.

No software company, Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, or any other, goes back and retrofits old software. It just isn't going to happen; no company has the desire and resources (developers) to do so. To expect Adobe to do this to CS5 is not reasonable.

I fully understand that Adobe wants everyone to go to CC. However, I do not see the need to pay for a subscription for a program that I already have and should be able to use on a hi-res screen. If there is a fix for the cloud based product, then it should also be made available for the computer based programs as well. My initial outlay for CS5 was not cheap when I bought it five years ago. It works fine with the exception of the use on a hi-res screen. Come on Adobe, how about ponying up and fix this problem for those of us who have paid for the license of a program that we loaded on our computers.

Did you restart the application so the change could take effect?

Oh.... I tried "Scale UI 200%" and it didn't work.

I have also a hi definition monitor, and I have Photoshop CC 2015. How do we find that setting/feature in the latest version of CC?
