Does anyone know if the patch tool could be accessed on the iPad, my teacher is giving us assignments that we need to do on our iPads and one of the steps is to use the patch tool but I cannot find it. Is there any other tool I could use or is there a way to access the patch tool?
thanks,

Hi

Here is a help page that explains how the patch tool works in PS for Desktop. As others have said, that tool is not in the iPad version.

The closest tool in the iPad version is the Spot Healing Brush. Click the Band-aid, then set the options for brush size, hardness, and settings. Click or drag on the image and choose undo if it's not what you expect.

If you have to use the Patch tool for class, you can open your image in Photoshop for Desktop, where it shares spaces with the Spot Healing Brush.

Photoshop for Mobile includes the Healing Brush and Clone Stamp, but not the Patch Tool.

You can request this and other features at the Photoshop feedback site:

I'll move the thread to the correct forum

Please post questions about applications other than Photoshop proper on the respective Fora.
