Persistent PNG transparency on copy/paste

Windows 11
Photoshop 26.8

It was suggested that I post this here after making a post reporting it as a bug. You can find that post here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/persistent-png-transparency/

When copying and pasting a png from anywhere into photoshop the transparency is stripped away and replaced with black.
This only happens with Windows OS but this is not a windows specific issue as it does not happen with all image processing applications. It is also not a browser issue as, again, it works for other applications.

I’ve read all the suggestions that people identify as "work arounds", but none of those steps can be easily automated into a keyboard shortcut and are not an actual solution. If you are reading this, please DO NOT comment with workarounds that cannot be automated.

So my "idea" is that adobe fixes this age old problem.  Ether make a plugin that allows for pasting with transparency or create a permanent in-software fix.

If it is indeed a browser issue, than make a plugin for browsers that fixes it.
