Photoshop 2025 Artboard Settings are gone

Looks like the new Photoshop 2025 removed the ability to remove the very annoying defult setting of auto nesting layers in artboards. Now you have to change it on each layer. This is a major fail as I have never seen the need to auto nest anything and now instead of being able to change it at a file level I have to change it at a layer level. Please Please Please revert back and go further to make it a defult that you do NOT auto nest layers. It is useless and annoying.

I'm not seeing any change in behavior on my end regarding "Auto-Nest Layers". The setting remains unchanged when I select different layers. Can you give me some exact steps to try to reproduce on my end? 

 

But I do see your point that we should make this setting universal and not document dependent.
