Photoshop CC 2015.5: "Select and mask" taskspace doesn't respect customised keyboard shortcuts for tools

I'm using a customised keyboard shortcut for the Quick Selection tool ("Q"), but when I enter the new "Select and mask" taskspace (PS CC 2015.5), the keyboard
shortcut falls back to "W", the default one. I assume this also happens with the other common tools (lasso and brush) if you are using a customised keyboard shortcut for them.

This is not a problem for
people who use the defaults, but it's a real performance hit for
those of us who did change them and are used to work fast relying on
muscle memory+keyboard shortcuts.

For me, this is a problem, but I am still posting this as "Idea" because I think that, after all, this is the way photoshop works normally: specific interfaces inside PS (as Liquify, Vanishing point, etc.) have their own set of keyboard shortcuts, "disconnected" from those of the main interface. Still, I think it would be great if at some point you were to make them all consistent whenever possible across these different interfaces inside PS, specially where the "Select and mask" interface is concerned.

Additionally, it would be nice to have the Magic Wand
included in this taskspace - I prefer the Quick Selection tool as a
first choice, but the good old magic wand still helps in certain
situations. Same goes for the polygonal lasso tool - not sure why these 2
(wand+poly) were left out.

Thanks.

Thanks, Hannah. It would have been ideal that these sub-interfaces could "inherit" the main customised shortcuts straight away, but I'm not complaining! It's great to be able to customise them even if it must be done separately. Thanks again!

Hi grauenwölfe & Carlos,

Thank you for the input. This idea has been implemented into Photoshop 20.0, which is available for download today. Please open the Creative Cloud app, download the update and let us know how it goes for you. If you do not see the update immediately, sign in and sign out of the Creative Cloud.

Yeah, sucks big time. It's always something. Shortcuts not working within the "new and improved" masking party window. Good one again Adobe.

Can you please make your application respect it's own Edit Keyboard Shortcuts feature? Geez.
