Photoshop doesn't support MKV

Unbelievable. Get MKV support into Photoshop, please.

@PECourtejoie That paints a pretty ugly picture of MKV. In actuality, it is a common recording method using tools like OBS Studio. It is also a more tightly compressed video format, and is most useful during recording because it writes immediately, so should something crash, you don't lose the entire file. Adobe supported MKV for years, then it disappeared. It has been requested for more than 2 years that I'm aware of. Most if not all players/converters, VLC for example support MKV, but why does Adobe insist we add steps to an already arduous task. A 2 hour video can take upwards of 1+ hours to convert from MKV to MP4.

@Jeff Arola it is a container file format for video, like MOV, MP4. It is mostly used for pirated movies, but also when one rips their DVDs/Blue-Rays to be stored on their NAS...
