Photoshop History Tab Not Detailed Enough
- Request: The Photoshop History Tab should have the same level of detail as the Actions tab
- Issue: The history tab only specifies the function, without any details:
- Re-size: Image Size
- Save
- Set Background
- Actions tab: In contrast, the Actions tab provides details of what was done with each function:
- Resize: Image Size: specifies the algorithm used, height & width, type of, etc.
- Save: specifies file type (i.e. JPG) the quality (i.e. 10), location, etc.
- Set Background: specifies opacity, Mode, etc.
- Click on Step: When you click on the step the Image Size settings choices dialog box appears.
- Workflow Impact: The customer has no details of the settings he used for the various functions. This can result in the customer having to recreate/repeat his work which wastes a lot of time.
- Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Open Raw file/Image/image size/Change Resolution to 180 and select Automatic for the algorithm.
- Expected result: On the history panel it displays the % reduction in dimensions and the name of the algorithm used
- Actual result: NO detailed information is displayed.
