  • Request: The Photoshop History Tab should have the same level of detail as the Actions tab
  • Issue: The history tab only specifies the function, without any details:
  • Re-size: Image Size
  • Save
  • Set Background
  • Actions tab: In contrast, the Actions tab provides details of what was done with each function:
  • Resize: Image Size: specifies the algorithm used, height & width, type of, etc.
  • Save: specifies file type (i.e. JPG) the quality (i.e. 10), location, etc.
  • Set Background: specifies opacity, Mode, etc.
  • Click on Step: When you click on the step the Image Size settings choices dialog box appears.
  • Workflow Impact: The customer has no details of the settings he used for the various functions. This can result in the customer having to recreate/repeat his work which wastes a lot of time.
  • Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Open Raw file/Image/image size/Change Resolution to 180 and select Automatic for the algorithm.
  • Expected result: On the history panel it displays the % reduction in dimensions and the name of the algorithm used
  • Actual result: NO detailed information is displayed.
