Photoshop is beyond slow, even on modern hardware. Make it fast.

Any Adobe product is the slowest software I use.  Just opening it takes 30 seconds or more.  This is impossibly slow… what could you be even doing with this time?  Fix it.  Stop doing whatever it is you think you need to do.  I just want to edit my images.
