PHOTOSHOP IS TRASH

Honestly why make a program so convoluted that a normal person cant even use it? I'm trying to make sprites for a game, as I'm new to this, it is a challenge, but Photoshop takes that challenge and makes it IMPOSSIBLE! How nice of them! Can't even find simple things like how to draw a shape (oh its hidden under other features how nice!) Can't even click one spot on the canvas without something dissapearing or the program thinking im trying to do something else with a single click! Why have I wasted money on this trash app all this time??????? Anyone have any suggestions other than Microsoft Paint? cause at this point Microsoft Paint seems like a GODSEND compared to this over engineered convoluted hot garbage.

*side note: You guys REALLY don't even have spellcheck on your forums??? How much money do you make from people with your software and you can't even provide your users with the luxury of SPELLCHECK???? How do you request a lifetime refund??**

To better assist you: what kind of game graphics/sprites are you attempting to create? Pixel art? High-res hand-drawn style? Animated? Do you want to create tiled backgrounds?

Because of its generalist feature set, Photoshop may not be the most straight-forward tool for this type of work.

Photoshop is a professional application and as such needs some time investment to learn at the beginning. There are lots of online videos, books and training courses depending on your particular learning style.

Many of us here use the application day in, day out, so can help with specific issues.

Oh and yes, there is a spellchecker in the forum posting box just click on the 'abc' icon at the top.

Hi @Jake31664027so4c ,

Please remember that this is a user forum, where users try to help other users. So all we can do is work together to try resolve the issue.

If you wish to register a complaint with Adobe, visit this page  https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and click on the virtual assistant icon found on the bottom right.
