IPadOS ” Previously called iOS” has supported drag drop for many years and it would be great if I could drag a photo from Safari onto Photoshop without the extra steps of saving the photo to photos then searching for it inside photoshop. Other apps like affinity photos have supported it for a while.

I find it odd that I can copy from Procreate, or eve Photoshop Mix, and paste into Fresco, but I can't do that from Photoshop. I'd like to be able to copy or drag text layers over in particular, as Fresco doesn't have text yet, and PS Mix is clumsy with text features. Photoshop for Mobile would be a great companion to Fresco, if only...

I find it downright bizarre that Photoshop and Fresco on iPadOS don't support drag and drop. It's terrible.

It would be great if a user could either drag-and-drop a photo onto the Photoshop window (within the gallery) to create a new Photoshop document with said photo. It would also be useful if a user could drag-and-drop an image onto an existing Photoshop document in order to import that image into their Photoshop document. It would also be useful if layers or objects could be drag-and-dropped from Photoshop (which would convert the layer or element into an image) into any other supported application on iPad.
