Photoshop: move JPG and TIFF saving-options to preferences

Everytime we have to save in jpg or tiff we get a dialog-box up with options, could we move this when checked as default to preferences and never get this up again? Or put these checkboxes in the first window where you choose path etc? Have this as a "save as default-options" or similar. With this option we don't need to check everytime that you have correct options and newbies also don't do anything wrong by having the standard settings on. JPG with max compression and so on..

It seems to me that you could set a preferred default, that is used if it's available such as ZIP and ZIP for layers if TIFF. I have clicked those two radio buttons so many times...

Yes I am aware of actions and use them on these points when I can 🙂 Just wondered if it were possible with this idea. Thanx for answers!

The file options available will vary with the image mode, size, depth, etc. and need to be offered per-image, and cannot be globally set.

And you could use an action that sets the file options you want while saving the file.

If Actions don’t fit the bill for your saving wishes you could give Scripting a try; with a Keyboard Shortcut or a Configurator Panel saving a copy (even to a folder relative to the file’s position) can be a one shortcut/click task.
