PHOTOSHOP: PLEASE ADD ADJUSTMENT LAYER FOR SELECTIVE WHITE BALANCE WITH EYEDROPPER TOOL

Currently, to white balance areas of the image, it takes many more steps to go into color filter, sample an area, then reverse the LAB colors to pull back or neutralize an area with color cast from a light source. A simpler route would be greatly appreciated.
