Pixelated paint bucket edge

After all the years of using Photoshop, for some reason the paint bucket tool still leaves a pixelated edge/line when colouring whole sections. Or when drawing with the brush tool, you then fill the blank space with the bucket, and it leaves the same pixelated edge that you still need to colour over. There are other cheaper apps out there that seem to have dealt with this problem, yet I am amazed that with all of Adobe's weatlth and tech knowledge, this is something that still hasn't been resolved... As a long time paying customer, can we please see this fixed for future updates. Thanks!

Were you ever able to find a solution for this?

The paint bucket tool can often stop on anti-aliased edges. You can try turning up the tolerance value in the menu bar which may overcome that.
