Placing "symmetry path" int he center of the screen.

I need to use symmetry path a lot in my work and I'm working with huge documents. I'm always frustrated beyond time and space that it's ALWAYS appears somehwere THERE where I cannot see it. I need to make new concept in another place of the doc so I need it to follow my "viewport". Could you do this please? You already have "use last symmetry" why don't you give "place symmetry in a middle of the screen" option (or make it as default)? This would GREATLY reduces my time and frustration with this tool.

Can you do it? I'm still using this every day of my work life and it still appears ina middle of a document. I want it appear where I'm right now, becuase I'm working on a documments which consists of many elements. Everyone will only win with this change.

I admit it's not a time saver, but perhaps it could be scripted.

And instead of pressing twice I need ot click on pen, draw the line where I want and then clicking on it and pcik the option to make it a symmetrical tool? How is this better/faster than clicking once on symmetrycal tool, zoom out and and then drag it to the place I want? I want to reduce steps in my work not increase them.

You could use the Pen tool to make a path at your desired location, and use Selected Path.
