Just like in Procreate.

Draw a shape and hold your pen at the end of the stroke to create a perfect Circle, Oval, Square, or Line using your existing brush and stroke pressure.

I have read lots of posts asking for this in the community and the solution offered was to use the shape tool…. That’s not a solution that’s a problem.

I want to snap to shapes and lines using my custom brush with my desired pressure. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt and could draw using procreate. This feature is more than a tiny one, this feature can absolutely make or break your growth and successes as a graphic designer. I talk with lots of friends who are illustrators who work for Nike, Pacsun, Under Armour, etc on a regular basis and there’s one thing they ALL have in common. Procreate. Procreate. Procreate. Not a single one of them uses photoshop, not one. Why should I?

All of their responses are nearly identical. the auto shape features are one of the “very first” and “most essential” tools they use when creating art, they can’t live without it. They probably wouldn’t have the career they have without that tool because they wouldn’t be able to make what they make.

I don’t think I should have to explain why this feature is more than essential if photoshop wants to stay a viable option for digital illustration. Day by day procreate is actively taking primary attention of every designer I know and it’s going to take mine if a feature like this doesn’t get launched in the next year or so. Anyone actively wanting this feature can confirm it’s probably going to be worth leaving Adobe for.

Don’t get this wrong: I Love Photoshop. This is a cry for help Adobe. I genuinely can’t ride with you anymore if you can’t make this simple thing happen. I deserve better tools as a full time illustrator and I’d like it to come from you. Not a cheaper competitor.
