Remove holes from selection

The idea is really simple. So simple that GIMP has had it for years. A quick command/action to remove any holes from a selection, i.e. if you have made a selection, then everything that is completely surrounded by that selection is now added to said selection. Say you use the magic wand to select a building, but it didn't select all the windows, because their colour is too different. One keypress and they're added to the selection. I am baffled by the fact that this doesn't exist yet.

See GIMP example here: https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-selection-remove-holes.html#:~:text=You%20can%20access%20this%20command,through%20Select%20%E2%86%92%20Remove%20Holes
