Request: I can't find a way to increase my canvas size for my background.

It is helpful to be able to expand the canvas. This feature is available in the desktop version, under Image>Canvas size. Being able to expand can be useful for some projects. Being able to crop but not being able to expand is a bit odd. I know that I can create a new bigger project and copy my current project over, but that is a bit on an awkward work around.

Thanks!

Make a way to change ppi/image size easier and an accessible way to change canvas size.

It's incredibly frustrating to not be able to change the canvas size. This should always be an option

Hi @emilyc98683923 curious if you have tried this?

If you click on the down arrow to the right of the file name that is open and go to Image Size, there you can resample or change the size of the file... is that what you are looking for?

Hi

That totally works! I just never thought to use the crop tool to do that.

I would consider adding a label when mousing over to clarify that the crop tool can expand to canvas. currently, the mouse over says, "trim edges and straighten images."

Thanks

Thanks for the request @Arlo B26013116mtvd! We'll be sure to let the team know.

Are you able to expand your canvas using the Crop tool? If not, what happens when you try? What kind of image are you working with?
