Could you confirm that you only have ONE tab open with Ps on the web launched?  Please quit your browser, restart and then open one window of Ps on the web and create a new document, then let us know if you see both place in the top menu dropdown as well as the icon in the toolbar on the left.

In the menu, the buttons are greyed out, so I cannot click on either.

Curious if a workaround for your second request of "ability to upload an open doc", have you tried the place function?  If you select place from either the hamburger menu or the icon from the toolbar, will this work for you?

Thanks for the post @Kukurykus , For this beta community, we have requests for Web and for Desktop betas. 

We're tracking these and bringing them back to the rest of the Photoshop team which then get prioritized. 

You're right though, most popular requests should make it into the product and that's what we're working to help the team with.

I see plenty of requests in this community to add features to Photoshop (Beta), which are useful and known from regular Ps. Why you're waiting to be asked to add them instead of doing it in advance? Wouldn't it be better to add most popular tools and then make a poll which should stay and which to withdraw?

Curious, could you explain a bit more on what you mean by "upload capicity to be more than one" and "upload capabilities...", we want to make sure we add your requests correctly.
