Rotate Standard 2D image on Y-Axis

The OP @wayne_carey posted this as an Idea three years ago (before Generative AI), so the product developers will see it. So far Wayne's post has zero upvotes.

Have you tried using AI to do this? The real fix is to shoot it properly with everything you want in the final image showing.

I understand that Photoshop only sees pixels, but this would be a good use for AI.  To artificially rotate and image around an axis.  Understanding that the result is an interpretation of the original, the results could then be fine tuned when necessary.  Isn't this the point of AI, to do the imposible?

Why can't I select the Rotate tool and then use the Option or Command key (MacOS) to constrain the rotation to an axis of rotation depending on how you move the mouse just like you can in 3D mode.  This doesn't sound so far fetched of an idea.

Photoshop only sees pixels. You are asking for pixels that aren't there to magically appear.

When you are working with 3D shapes, the entire object is there and you can rotate it to see another side that already exists.

Here is an image I would like to rotate it more towards a front facing view.  I'm not sure if this is an AI possible situation, or if there is another way to simulate this idea without 3D
