Rotate/transform characters/glyphs independently

There's a missing feature which I'd love to see: the ability to transform each character independently without having to make a layer per letter or to convert the text into a shape.

If it's not for a transform tool, I wish we could have a "rotate" character feature in the text panel, in the same way we can change leading or tracking.
