Smart filters be a part of styles

So It could be a one click solution.   I mean a stack of filters and adjustments  like levels  and exposure .

For example a height/depth  image  turned into normal map with gamma0.45>emboss>levels

A stack of distortion and  1 pix displace filtes     and so on.

I know  it could be done through actions but having it as  styles  would make it easier and convenient with a nice thumbnail preview  vs actions  which are hard to organise.

Or make smart objects with smartfilters droppable into library panel  so we could have a quick access

It's actually  another big question.   Why we can't apply "smart" non destructive filters  to generl layers   like it's possible in Affinity Photo for example?  Or why just any bitmap layer couldn't be relinked ?

As of styles missing  asomething and not working always for any curcumastances   isn't it a half of Photoshop  already  having something not working in certain conditions  or any other art related soft.  Is it really that big of an issue?

If not styles  it would be nice to save  a smart objext with filter/edits stack  as a library item at least so we could drop it quickly and re-link  instead of searching  through gazilion of actions that did that stack  and figuring out why it's not working any more and what you miss.

Styles are a general group of effects that can be applied to any layer. Smart filters can only be applied to smart objects, which already imposes certain restrictions on their use. In addition, third-party (or built-in, but missing for one reason or another) plugins can be used as a smart filter (what should happen when applying this style?).

The idea looks interesting, but I'm afraid that its implementation contains many problems.
