Straight line on IPad Pro app with photoshop

I want this more than anything in photoshop and as an illustrator I feel like I’m facing a really tough decision to leave photoshop for procreate because of the gestures for “Auto Shape” and straight lines. I understand you can create a basic shape path in photoshop but that’s so irrelevant to the issue I think that “solution” needs to be tossed out completely. 
I want to snap to shapes and lines using my custom brush with my desired pressure. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt and could draw using procreate after this feature. I genuinely get a sick pit in my stomach thinking about the fact that I have to move all my Adobe files into Dropbox and move to procreate. This feature is more than a tiny one, this feature can absolutely make or break your growth and successes as a graphic designer. I talk with lots of very successful illustrators who work for Nike, Pacsun, Under Armour, etc on a regular basis and there’s one thing they ALL have in common. Procreate. Procreate. Procreate.

the auto shape features are one of the very first things they use when creating art, they can’t live without it. They would never work without it. 
 

why should I? Hoping Adobe wants to save photoshop enough for this, very soon.

I’ve been looking for more browser-based tools that are simple and work without installing extra apps. For anyone who prefers lightweight web tools, I’ve found https://onlinetasbihcounter.com/ to be another good example of a clean, responsive web app. Hopefully Photoshop for iPad continues moving in this direction with more practical features too.

Please, Adobe. Fix this issue, add the feature! 

recently got an iPad with the intent of doing some design work on photoshop & other softwares more mobile-ly than on a Wacom. I am struggling to find anything similar to the shift-click ability on photoshop desktop to help me make a stright line with brush, eraser, and other tools. 

I didn't find it in the touch shortcut options and pressing the shift key on my connected keyboard does nothing.

This simple feature is so helpful for so many parts of my workflow and I seem to constantly hit a road block when I try to do it out of habit (from experience using photoshop on Wacom & laptop) and can't

I actually like using olde skool tool on digital device, find it quite funky 😄

You can also open the file in Fresco, which has a digital ruler.

Tried this but it unfortunately doesn't work.

I need to draw straight lines on th eiPad as part of my work, I also need to draw , outlines, call out boxes, boxes and triangles to mark up items on the image that need attention?  Can't believe this isn't in Photoshop for iPad.

Please upvote this so the develops can see this "easy" implementation.

They've added features like touch and gestures to make the IPad's version of photoshop more accessible: it's easier to gain access to the tools. 
With the 'touch' feature I think it would be easy to input the ability to make straight lines using this feature.

As far as I can tell, Ps mobile doesn't do that.
