Text fields

Anytime I have a text field that doesn't show the copy (e.g. after changing the font or text size, the text in the field becomes too large to show up), the text field becomes impossible to edit. If the text tool would click into the text field, that'd be very helpful. Unfortunately with text fields, it will only click into existing text or showing text and it doesn't see any lines with just a return in it as text.
