There's got to be a better way to export animated gifs than "Save for Web"

Trying to export a gif is super hardware intensive for creating a 600kb file – as it stands right now I have to shut down every other program on my computer to give PS my full 16gb of ram, and even then if I change the "lossy" settings everything shuts down.
