a few things to add to the sequence settings dialog

Neither of these is a big deal, but sometimes it's not intuitive where to find these options...  

First, would love to be able to change my sequence name in the sequence dialog...  

 

and I think it would be more intuitive if you could access the starting timecode option in the sequence settings...   Once I found it, it's an easy thing to do...  but this option should at least be also available in the sequence settings and the new sequence dialogs...  

 

I don't have a clue about how complicated these suggestions would be to implement, so ignore the ideas if these might create problems...  I think we can all agree that we don't need more bugs...  and Adobe, thanks for listening...  and have a happy new year...

    I never use Page Up and Down in Ae; I always use Ctrl + left and right arrows.

    doesn't seem like it'd be too big a deal to offer the option with an alternate keyboard shortcut setup...  but as I said earlier in this post, I have no idea how complex reprogramming this would require.  Once again...  repeat after me... we don't need any more bugs...

    I jump between Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign frequently, sometimes several times a day.  As much as I'd love more consistent keyboard shortcuts, that would probably require an Adobe Premiere Photostrater Effects Design all-in-one super app.  Or maybe it would be called Premiere Illushop Design Effects?

    well if we're asking to get aftereffects interface to match premiere, would be great if the advance or go back one frame would use left and right cursor keys in AE instead of the page up and down keys or at least have that option...  cause my reflexes are driven by Premiere...   but that of course would drive all the AE people crazy (ier).

    When it comes to the Sequence Settings, I'd also like to see the Sequence pulldown menu have "New Sequence..." added, also bringing it in line with After Effects.

      Thanks.  I've been thinking about this since I started working intensively in Premiere probably 7 years ago...  gotta say I like the bug report and feature request integration with the forum...

      This would bring the Premiere Pro Sequence Settings dialog box in line with what we can do in the After Effects Composition Settings (rename and set start timecode).  I voted.
