Ability to see audio waveform and video in source window

This is seriously so simple yet such a good feature. Why haven't they done this from the beginning?

Yes! This would be fantastic.

I have pushed for a request to have auto scroll when playing audio wave forms back in the source monitor. Currently it doesn't scroll along when you play them when zoomed in, would need to so this also when playing audio/video together in monitor. The source monitor needs some serious love.

Would also be nice to see the audio keyframes if any are present

If you click the wrench icon and choose Open in Timeline you'll get something pretty close to what you want — but only for one source clip at a time.
