Ability to Show or Hide Import, Edit, Export Bar

Just upgraded to Premere 23.0 and I'm wondering what this horizontal, unmovable bar at the top of the program is. I don't know what to call it. It shows "Import, Edit, Export" on the left, the project in the center, and some other buttons on the right. Why is this here? It's taking up visual real estate with redundant information. Why can't I move it? Right-clicking does nothing. Every other window can be identified and moved, but for some reason this bar is locked at the top. I get the sense it was added to improve orientation for new users, but I'd rather have the extra space at the top, so please make it modular like the rest of the program's interface or get rid of it.

When you've been leaning on UI modularity for this long, immovable features foisted on the user take control away from the user experience. In my opinion I don't want prescribed layouts, I want a custom layout I'm making that feels intuitive to me.

I don't think there are any options to forcibly disable Import and Export modes. I've reached out to SubGuy directly, for further workflow details.

I'd really like to know if there is a way to manually or programatically turn the Import and Export Button off. In my company we are using bestoke panels to export and import stuff and the users get confused by the additional buttons.
I read that you can enter the values header.ExportMode,0 and header.importMode,0 in the UIConfiguration.txt-file, but that did not work for me. Any workarounds are welcome! Thanks!

As that is the place users select workspaces, quick export & such besides the three options mentioned, I don't think they're going to change this. Just being realistic ... my biggest gripe is they should allow more space for workspaces. You can pull the current left-edge workspace 'pipe' to the left and get a few more, but there's a LOT more space, and I have 9 custom workspaces...

Yes please! The export bar has to be minimized: Grateful for the modernisation and Adobe team learning from what Danvinci does well. But the bar is currently wasting 3% of precious screen space 100% of the time for a button we will use 0.0001% of the time. Please add the option to minimize at least, or ideally fully modify: undock, relocate/resize or remove options.
