Add "Contextual Alternates" (OpenType) Support for Persian/Arabic Fonts

Hi Adobe Team,

I am facing a significant issue when trying to type with complex Persian fonts, specifically "IranNastaliq", directly in Premiere Pro. The characters do not connect and form properly because Premiere Pro's text engine lacks the "Contextual Alternates" feature, which is easily accessible in Photoshop.

Currently, the only way to use this font is by creating a PSD file and importing it into Premiere, which slows down the workflow. Interestingly, other video editors like CapCut support and render this exact font flawlessly by default without any workarounds.

Please integrate full OpenType support, specifically the Contextual Alternates toggle, into Premiere Pro's Essential Graphics panel so users can type seamlessly in Middle Eastern languages.

Thank you.

Yes, i also think it’s an important feature that premier pro also needs to have it like other editing apps.

Yes, it would be great if Premiere Pro's text engine supported advanced typography features that are currently missing.
