Add the ability to mass disable effects

I don't understand why when selecting multiple effects you can't turn them all off at once? It can be done in AE, why doesn't it work here?
I mean when multiple effects are selected the on/off only works for one effect, not the selected ones.
Why not add this feature?

I'm thinking that it would help if you reposted your idea phrased like this:

  • Toggling an effect on or off in the Effect Controls panel applies to all selected effects.

Thanks for the answer. But you don't always need to turn off all effects. Sometimes you need to select 8 out of 10 and turn them on/off to see the difference before/after without affecting the other 2 effects. Such functions are available in AE, I would like them to be available in Premiere as well. It is very convenient when there is an opportunity to control many effects with one click of the mouse. But so far it is not possible.(

@Vadym B.

I think it would be great to have a button that enables/disables all of the effects for a clip, maybe at the top of the list of Effects in the Effect Controls or by Option/Alt clicking the fx badge on the Clip Boundary in the Timeline.

In addition to what @Peru Bob recommends, there's Global Effects Mute.  The button for it is available to be added to the transport controls at the bottom of the Project panel.

Place your effects in an adjustment layer.
