Now with the different Import/Edit/Export panels in Premiere Pro, I can see this being a new "Color" panel (kind of mimiking Resolve there). The concept art you created really is mind blowing and one can only hope Adobe is looking into this and improves the color grading features. Otherwise people are just going to export to Resolve and possibly convert fully at some point.

@Kevin-Monahan do you have any idea if the color panel will get improved and maybe this concept has some merrit to it?

I would love a modified resurrection of SpeedGrade, sure! As the staffers all know ... lol

The wide rectangular RGB Curves tool they now have in Lumetri is the result of a number of us agitating for that, rather than a square box, over several years.

Now ... if they'd add splines to the curves panels in the Lumetri ...

So... you basically want to bring back Prelude?

Interesting ideas.

One problem for me: I HATE SQUARE CURVES PANELS! (And yes ... I was shouting there ... it's a 'thang' for me ... )

I want wide huge rectanglular curves panels with splines ...  😉

https://generator.iwltbap.com - I always use this free LUT generator for color grading in PPro, been a lifesaver.

Every now and then when I'm forced to render out an edit so I can color grade in Resolve I like to come back and look at this post and get mad Adobe has never done anything with this.

Should I switch to Resolve already? lol

I mean, you can't do any colour grading in Adobe products

The color workflow in PP is so incredibly basic/insufficient/sub-par that I would consider this not some "luxury" suggestion but a top priority feature that must be added immediately.
