"Great concept! I think Lumetri is currently an insufficient tool compared to DaVinci Resolve and other high-end color grading software tools, and behind this proposal is a real need for a more sophisticated and advanced tool that can keep the user inside the Adobe CC's family. "

Exactly this! 🙂

I'm not voting for the concept per se, I'm voting for the need of an Adobe grading application that works seamlessly with Premiere.

Yes, this would be amazing.

Especially if it like SpeedGrade put the grade into premiere as a plug in! Of course I would just be happy with SpeedGrade working with the current version of Premiere Pro.

Great concept! I think Lumetri is currently an insufficient tool compared to DaVinci Resolve and other high-end color grading software tools, and behind this proposal is a real need for a more sophisticated and advanced tool that can keep the user inside the Adobe CC's family.
Being a layer-based color grading tool is brilliant and keeps it simple for users from different experience levels, and makes it also familiar to Adobe CC users, this design looks really user-friendly and simple, yet it is capable of complex color grading processes that the current Lumetri lacks.
I'm using Lumetri for just limited color corrections, and when I need to have a proper color grading I have to turn to DaVinci Resolve, I believe if this concept of Lumetri came to life, I would prefer to stay in the Adobe CC platform and use it.
Well done Bilal!

@4723423 That's true, I wanted that in the beginning also, but after studying this case intensely, I found that a standalone App, will make it more accessible & useful to more people that may don't need Premiere's full features, they maybe need only to fix a video or to add LUTs to some dailies for example. And the best model for that is Adobe Audition; You can use it to work on a Huge Premiere Pro sequence, Record, Edit and mix, or You can only launch it to fix a beep in an audio file or to level up a Voice-Over! And this is what made Audition the Number one app used in Radio Stations around the world!

It could be a native module (better than other software separated) inside Ae and Pr, an upgraded Lumetri Color with a powerful cross-application color workflow.
