AI-based Face Blur / Pixelation Workflow in Premiere Pro – Out-of-the-box Feature Request

As User of Adobe Premiere,
I want to automatically blur or pixelate faces in video footage so that I can protect people’s identities without manually tracking and editing every single face in Adobe Premiere Pro.

While I’m aware of manual techniques using masking, tracking, and Gaussian blur, they are time-consuming and not reliable in fast-paced or crowded scenes.

What I’m looking for is an AI-based out-of-the-box solution within Premiere Pro or the Creative Suite that automatically detects and anonymizes faces throughout an entire clip — similar to what platforms like YouTube or Descript offer.

Such a feature would be invaluable for documentary editors, journalists, educators, and content creators who need to meet privacy regulations and handle sensitive footage efficiently.

Does Adobe already have plans for this? Or are there any existing workflows, plugins, or beta features that enable this kind of automation?

Thanks in advance!

I often work with sensitive footage where people’s faces need to be anonymized.
Doing this manually — tracking each face, applying masks, adjusting blur — takes hours and is prone to error.

That’s why I’m asking:
Can Adobe Premiere Pro offer a built-in AI-powered solution that auto-blurs faces – like YouTube already does?
