Allow us to completely disable "Selection follows playhead"

"Selection follows playhead" Seems to get turned on everytime I freshly start premiere and everytime the lumetri tab is open (This is all versions of premiere that I have tried, 2022-2024). I am constantly messing with keyframes on short clips and it competely breaks my workflow to have this setting randomly turn on and changing which clip I have selected. It would be amazing if there was a way to completely disable this feature.
