Allow use of LRF files from DJI as proxy

DJI Osmo 4 produces a .LRF file along with the main video. This is a low resource file, lower quality and resolution, ideal for use as a proxy. The only change is the extension. To use as a proxy, currently I have to rename to *.LRF.mp4 a silly step plus a possible chance of overwriting the fullres footage.

If the LRF file was recognised then using proxy footage would be so much easier. They are effectively mp4 containers with just a different extension.

I came here for the same request. But it is really as simple as @defaultwxc50xcsw66d wrote:
Just rename the file extension from .LRF to .MP4, you can use a rename tool (like "Rename Expert") for batch renaming. And you do not need to convert any framerate, as the .LRF Files have the same framerate as the original files.
So my workflow in an example:
1. "DJI_20250731171839_0066_D.LRF" will be renamed to "DJI_20250731171839_0066_D_PROXY.MP4"
2. In Premiere Pro I import the original ProRes Mov File "DJI_20250731171839_0066_D.MOV"
3. Right Click on original MOV and "Attach Proxies", i choose my renamed file here. If you have multiple files, they also can be bulk attached

Much more quicker as to Ingest the original Media and render your own proxies.

I came here to request the same feature if not already possible, seems maybe some people have found a workaround by renaming the lrf to .mp4, but the framerate has to be in 30 fps or you have to convert the LRF file to the correct framerate before using as a proxy
