An objective zoom level for timeline rather than "feels"

I use my mouse to expand and contract the zoom level of my timeline a lot, and never get it back to a good zoom level that I was using. Seems like the only way to zoom in and out is by feeling for it and watching the notches at the top.

I’d like to see a right-click menu or some buttons that zooms to a set level in a click so that I can get back to the same zoom level every time (that is, the notches represent the same numeric, objective, discrete time intervals).

Being able to work with consistent intervals would also mean I would be more consistent about the durations of my effects, rather than always winging it based on notches that keep changing what numeric time interval they represent.

Try using the Backslash  \  (zoom to sequence).

Thanks, I’ll use that from now on when I know I’m switching between two levels.

We still also need an objective, numeric way to set this to create and re-find productive workspaces.
