An Option to Opt-out of A.I. Tools

All are welcome to post their thoughts. Including those we disagree with. That’s not rudeness, it is simply that we are all different. Personally, I would prefer you participated here daily, as we would all be better for another different voice.

You have an opinion of the new tools that is shared by some, but that many others do not share. I can’t see how they harm the environment but oh well, that’s me. And no tools are forced on you. You have choices, and of course in Premiere, like Avid and Resolve, there’s about 4 to 10 ways to do anything. 

The auto color, transcriptions, search capabilities for clips by image or sound content, these and other things of the LLM age are a great tool for speeding the work for many of us. No ‘aritistic integrity’ issues or anything. I personally really like the new search, and I live by the transcriptions.

I do a lot of interview and tutorial editing. Mostly bits of talking repeated two to six or more times througout a longer take. I hate scrubbing repeatedly through clips to find the usable bits. Using auto transcriptions I can print it out, note the time stamps of the bits I want to use, go back to the computer and simply grab those. So much faster, so less frustration on my part.

And without the LLM, the transcriptions wouldn’t be there.

Nope, cannot delete tools from the tools bar.

Never have and probably never will.
