Apply effect in effect control pannel. Keep it there also on newly added clips.

I am using the crop effect often. Now I have to search and select the effect and drag it to the Effects control panel for every clip. When draged to the control panel it does not effect the footage yet.

So..

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to save the Crop Effect (or any other effect) in the Effects contol panel and to have the effects that I use a lot ready when needed?

As far as I can see there is also no shortcut key possible to add the crop effect.
