Audio effects such as delay, echo, reverb should carry on after the end of clip

If I'm applying an audio effect that has an augmenting quality to a clip like delay let's say, it should delay the end of the clip as well and carry over to the audio track instead of how it is currently where it cuts off at the end of the clip. I hope it's clear.

Thanks for the reply! I thought about that however haven't had the time to figure out if automation is possible in that panel as I often have to add key frames to an effect.

Good idea. Just my 2 cents (maybe you already do this). You can put the audio effects on an audio track and add the effect in the audio mixer panel after you hit that little >, slots for the audio options will unfold. You than have to put this clip on it's own audio track. But it's doable.
