Audio Timeline suggestion for improving Premiere Pro

Premiere Pro has some areas where it feels a bit clunky.

For example, when I lower the audio using keyframes, I want to reduce it to the absolute lowest possible level, or ideally, silence.

The natural behavior should place the audio line at the very bottom of the track, presumably at the track's visual bottom edge.

However, the issue is that there appears to be additional space below the audio line (see inset photo).
