Auto Frame for a 2-shot

Is there a way to use auto frame if there are two people in a shot? I edit talks shows into vertical social media clips, and I'm constantly having to adjust my auto frame back and forth depending on who's talking. Can auto frame detect who is talking in the two-shot and focus on that person? Is there a work around if not?

Hi, I think Adobe is working towards these kind thing since the market is skewed towards non-editors now.

Here's a workaround for you until it comes hope it helps!

Assuming you have one wide shot with two talking heads, I would duplicate it into two video tracks, stack time on top of each other in the timeline. Frame subject A in the first video, then second video frames subject B. Thus creating two shots in your timeline which you can switch back and forth anytime.

If you still catch my drift, you can consider turning it into a multicam sequence which might let you edit quicker but that's another topic all together. Cheers
