Auto-transcribe individual CLIPS

The auto-transcribe tool is very helpful for transcribing long interviews in order to search for key words or phrases. HOWEVER - it would be infinitely more useful if we had the option to "Auto-transcribe CLIPS" in addition to its current method of transcribing Sequences. If the transcription is tied to its original clip, this allows users to maintain that information while editing.

    As Neil says, it is in the Public Beta version and it is fantastic! It has changed from the tutorials they provided at the beginning, but worth taking a look if you want to have input:

    I think there is an option now to transcribe on ingestion ... although it might only be in the public beta ... I don't recall, and am not at my computer at the moment.
